Singing Architectures - A site specific improvisation project

This is a back burner project of mine that I will be sharing parts of from time to time. I have always had an interest in how a place effects the music/sounds I create. This is the first video in a project that seeks to document some of my exploration. This film was taken on a May morning during the lockdown. There are many places I have sung with and without permission. It often leads to a lovely encounter of an unknown audience stepping forward at the end to acknowledge the shared experience. I love singing in places with natural heavy reverb. My favourite to date is this one and a disused storm tunnel in France.
